This batik class is focused on participants who want to deepen their batik skills as a first step in applying their knowledge at an advanced level. Program mentoring that generates interest in a new hobby or honing a skill as a more professional application.
Technical supplies to be given is being able to apply strokes of insertion and coloring both as the basics of scientific knowledge of batik practice. Method directives starting with an introduction to the history and insight into the theory of batik, doing several experiments in batik techniques and came to the creation of the final work as a ripe result.
Run Down
Meeting 1 (3 hours)
• Introduction of a brief explanation of class material for the introduction of tools, materials, and practices manufacturing process globally.
Meeting 2 (3 hours)
• Basic training in embedding techniques and skill experimental trials.
Meeting 3 (3 hours)
• The practice of making batik using mature fabrics and designs as a master design according to the design.
